2/18/2024 0 Comments Geo sigil![]() ![]() You’ll earn them every time you open a chest. You’ll earn them by doing tasks in your Adventurer’s Handbook, and by completing achievements listed in your Achievements menu. You’ll often earn them by completing quests. You’ll earn Primogems by doing just about anything in Genshin Impact. ![]() That doesn’t seem like a big deal on its own, but since Primogems are so easy to earn, they’ll quickly become the primary focus of your currency-grinding efforts. Primogems have one major use: They can be exchanged for other currencies. Primogems are your other basic currency, though they’re much more useful (and much rarer) than Mora. It’s likely you’ll be grinding Mora when you get into later parts of the game. The more characters you have, the more money you will need in order to keep their equipment leveling up with them. Of course, when you get deeper into the game, your enhancements and ascensions start getting really expensive. You can also buy Mora with many of the game’s other currencies (including Genesis Crystals). In fact, it sort of feels like if you look away from your Mora tally for a few minutes, you’ll look back to find yourself swimming in the stuff. You can earn Mora by completing quests and killing monsters, and it will also be rewarded for doing pretty much anything in the game. These fees grow as the character or item becomes more powerful, so when you’re one or two ascensions deep, you’ll really start feeling the Mora drain. ![]() Later in the game, Mora will become much more useful, though, as there are fees associated with enhancing weapons and accessories, as well as ascending characters and items. You’ll generally have to pay a small fee in Mora for having a blacksmith forge you an item. You can also buy bottom-tier weapons for Mora. Go to an item shop and you’ll pay Mora for crafting ingredients and potions. Go to a tavern and you’ll pay Mora for drinks. Mora is the currency you spend at your basic-level shops. The more useful items and activities in the game will require other currencies. Unlike those currencies, though, it doesn’t seem to serve much purpose beyond your base-level shopping. Mora serves the purpose of gold in your typical RPG, or gil in a Final Fantasy game, or RDO$ in Red Dead Online. You do not need 100% completion in each region in order to buy out the shops - there are way more Sigils than there are things to buy with them.I’m tempted to say that Mora is your main currency in Genshin Impact, but that’s not completely accurate. Mondstadt awards Anemo Sigils, Liyue rewards Geo Sigils, and Inazuma rewards Electro Sigils. You’ll get each region’s respective Sigil by donating collectables to the Statues of the Seven, as well as just from opening chests. Sigils are easy to find, as you get them just from exploring the various regions. How to get Sigils You can buy items with Anemo Sigils, Geo Sigils, and Electro Sigils Image: Hoyoverse via Polygon After you fully upgrade it, you can head over to the Inazuma Souvenir Shop, but it really only has some weapon enhancement material and furniture blueprints - nothing super interesting. Nearly all of your Electro Sigils will go toward upgrading the tree and getting tons of very worthwhile rewards from it. Notably, the Inazuma Souvenir Shop does not open until you max out the Sacred Sakura Tree. The Souvenir Shop doesn’t take money, either. Each Souvenir Shop has a slightly different inventory, and you can only buy so much of each item. Materials are often found around Teyvat or from defeating enemies, but some rare material like weapon billets or Traveler Ascension material come from Souvenir Shops. When you hover over an item and select “details,” the game will tell you where you can find more of that item. Where to find the Souvenir Shops in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma While there are some materials needed for things like Ascension that you need to grind for, like Treasure Hoarder Insignias, there are plenty of materials you can just buy if you have the coin.Įach major city has a Souvenir Shop that allows you to spend Sigils in exchange for specific rare materials. In Genshin Impact, there are dozens of various currencies, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed.
